The Ladysmith News is a weekly newspaper with a circulation of 5,550 that serves all of Rusk County, the Holcombe area and southern Sawyer County communities. The Rusk County Shopper is a weekly advertisement publication delivered locally to 9,375 customers in the Rusk County area. The News prints on Wednesday, and the Shopper prints on Thursday for Friday distribution. Both publications are based in the City of Ladysmith. They are part of the Bell Family Press newspaper organization, which also publishes the Barron News Shield, Bloomer Advance, Chetek Alert and Barron Shopper.
